Louis Vuitton’s CSI Handbag Division Won’t Let Customer Return $700 Purse

April 27th, 2009

Wrong bag - smaller (holds less cash) and cheaper! Its $675 and the customer was charged $700!

Wrong bag - smaller (holds less cash) and cheaper! It's $675 and the customer was charged $700!

I am just beside myself. This poor unfortunate woman. For goodness sakes she ordered a $700 purse and claims the company made a series of mistakes, including sending her the wrong size! The one they sent was smaller and worth $25 dollars less! And now…when she makes a complaint the phone rep has the audacity to treat her as if she were a commoner, someone who just doesn’t meet the high standards of a Louis Vitton owner. What is this world coming too? Goodness. Why the very idea that Luis Vuitton could consider a simple request by the customer is beneath them just makes me ill.  What is this world coming to?

How Rocky the Flying Squirrel – aka ‘Rachel Ray’ – gets rich.

April 24th, 2009
Over-priced goods is the pathway to riches.

Over-priced goods is the pathway to riches.

I’m not surprised to read that Rocky is making millions of dollars this year when I get an email promotion for a  hyper-priced package of basics, or as she likes to call it “essentials.” I haven’t done an exact price shopping comparison – but from experience, as I have all of these items in my pantry – I’d pay about $20 for the same items at either Safeway or Trader Joe’s. But I wouldn’t buy ‘Balsamic Drizzle’ – I’d make it by reducing balsamic vinegar.

I think it’s silly that folks would buy this stuff with her picture on it for that price. Silly. And where do I get in line for the same thing?

But I suppose the thinking that produced overcharging for ‘essentials’ went into her choice of revealing clothing.  That has to be the explanation – why else could Rocky think she could outdo Giada in the cleavage department? ~blm
