Since 1932, the Republican’s have lost the presidency without a Nixon or a Bush as President or Vice President. If you take a look back at each election, you’ll see. In all the elections with Nixon on the ticket, 4 out of 5 were won. In all the elections with a Bush on the ticket, 4 out of 5 were won.
